Abby Spencer Moffat has held roles such as the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation (DDSF), a philanthropic organization with a focus on providing grants within the fields of education, entrepreneurship, public policy, and national security. DDSF supports developmental early education programs for students, public policy institutes for the defense of economic and political freedoms, and empowerment of individuals.
Abby’s professional resume is robust, having impactful roles within multiple influential non-profit organizations. She is the co-chairman of the Washington Studies Group while also serving on the boards of the Heritage Foundation, the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, and the Media Research Center.
Abby’s extensive experience began with her graduation from Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C. where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree, and soon afterward landed a position with CWI/SAI, a D.C.-area headhunting firm. She later stepped into consulting and magazine advertising coordinator roles with success. Eventually, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch, own, and operate her own event-planning business specializing in fundraisers and corporate meetings.
